About Bruce Lee

Compilers, computer systems, and the practice of building useful tools.

AI COMPILERS · NPU BACKENDS

From model semantics to hardware execution

I'm Bruce Lee, a Computer Science and Technology major at Lanzhou University. My recent work involves MLIR compilers and NPU backends: turning models into instructions through graph transformations, numerical reasoning, and resource scheduling.

This blog collects engineering questions and notes from studying compilers, C/C++, assembly, operating systems, and computer architecture.

Current focus

Connecting the layers

Compilers & graphs

IR transformations, fusion, lowering, and code generation with MLIR / LLVM and ONNX.

Numerics & memory

Quantization through graph changes; shapes, layouts, strides, lifetimes, and storage reuse.

Backends & delivery

Instructions, synchronization, and resource management, supported by regression testing and reliable builds.

Systems and curiosity

My interests include Linux / Unix, concurrency, RISC-V, Verilog, and language-model training, evaluation, RAG, and agents.

My GitHub profile includes earlier reading notes. Away from code: fitness, running, football, cycling, and tea.
